In Bradford we have adopted peer appraisal which is formative and egalitarian, rather than judgemental and hierarchical. The process is confidential between the trainers who appraise each other. However if your appraisal identifies ideas or issues of importance to the Training Scheme, we are very keen for you to let the Programme Directors know. Aim To facilitate the continuing professional development of GP Trainers in their role as educators.
