Dont Confuse the Difference Between Appraisal, Educational Supervision and nMRCGP
Appraisal
At the beginning of your first GP attachment, it is hoped that you and your trainer will sit down and discuss your learning needs. This will then be formulated into a Personal Learning Plan. This plan will be reviewed in the 6th month of your first GP attachment to review where you are and to see if anything else needs to be added in. It is hoped that your second 6 month GP attachment will be able to address these new learning objectives.
The Tynedale Questionairre
Your training practice or Yorkshire Deanery might ask you to fill in a "Tynedale Questionairre" periodically throughout your attachment. This helps them ensure they are providing the right training specifically for you.
