Number of GP's : 7 (including GP specialists in Dermatology, Neurology, Diabetes, Minor Surgery and Minor Eye Surgery). One partner is CME tutor and another teaches undergraduates.

The practice covers the full social spectrum from extensive areas of deprived council estates to wealthy upper middle class areas. The practice is urban although extending into semi-rural areas on the North side of Bradford (Baildon Moor, Shipley Glen).

 

The practice has two purpose built premises at East Shipley (Windhill Green) and Baildon. We are very actively involved in the P.C.T. with one partner on the P.E.C. and clinical governance lead for the P.C.T.. The practice is part of the primary care collaborative and we are improving access and have a significant interest in Cardiology.

 

Secondary to primary care work has been an important feature of our commitments for several years. Training has been a major part of the practice's life for the last 23 years and a third partner is currently applying to train.
