
An electrician has many tools in his/her box, but doesn't use all of them - only those appropriate to the job at hand. Likewise, as a GP it is good to have a few websites in your mind so you can select the appropriate one(s) for the particular task before you. This will make your working life tonnes easier and help the consultation to 'flow'.
Don't worry: what follows is not an exhaustive list like the Yellow Pages but rather those that I find most invaluable (and hope you will do too); each section has around 10 or less websites. World Lingo is one of the best translators I have used to communicate with patients who can read but whose command of the English language is very limited. It translates to and fro for quite a number of common languages.
