Instead, I've listed only a selection of a few (each section has around 10 or less) that I've used and found immensely helpful. Yes, you can now view the journal online for free. This magazine for Associates In Training (i.e. GP trainees) gets such high reviews that even qualified GPs are pushing for its general release. Well written in a laid back style.

Businessballs is a free ethical learning and development resource for people and organisations, run by Alan Chapman, in Leicester, England. It's an online collection of learning and development ideas and is now used by about a million people each month. Essential if you want to know more about teams and management.

Matt Smith's relatively new website for trainers and trainees is a welcome addition providing resources on a site that is easy to navigate. For a first timer in web design, his achievements are remarkable. Use the horizontal navigation bar.

An organisation uniting all educationalists in primary care. They run conferences and workshops well worth attending. Promoting the role in mentoring, teaching and facilitating continued professional development for Primary Care Educators around the UK.

PMETB is the independent regulatory body responsible for postgraduate medical education and training. They ensure that postgraduate training for doctors is of the highest standard.

The RCGP is a professional membership organisation for GPs in the UK. Its aim is to encourage and maintain the highest standards of general practice and act as the ‘voice’ of general practitioners on education, training and standards issues.

Although this name implies that the Association is for Programme Directors, the organisation is warm, friendly and open to any educationalist (they're keen on promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and learning). They run workshops, courses and lots more. The UKAPD is the only national body representing the views of training programme directors in Britain. So JOIN NOW....

UKCEA - United Kingdom Conferance of Educational Advisors

UKCEA like the rest (NAPCE and UKAPD) aims to promote education and training relating to General Practice.  Mainly consists of Associate GP Advisers in General Practice and Directors of Postgraduate GP Education, it has observers from the Royal College of General Practitioners, GPC, NAPCE, UKAPD, AUDGP (Association of University Departments of General Practice), and a GP Registrar representative.

What can I say other than I love this site and consider it a MUST HAVE. If you have lots of tasks to do and have many fingers in different pots and struggle to keep on top of them, then this website is for you.
