Kirkburton Health Centre

A highly regarded practice in the leafy suburbs of Huddersfield where teamwork, quality and education are at the heart of everything we do.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a new doctor to our friendly, fun and hardworking team at Kirkburton Health Centre. We are a high achieving SystemOne Practice with three partners, a salaried doctor and two recently appointed Advanced Clinical Practitioners. We serve 8,000 patients in the village of Kirkburton and surrounding area.

We have a keen interest in education and training. Dr Waller is a Training Programme Director for the Pennine VTS and Dr Lane runs a CSA website which is widely used across the country. We are well regarded by local universities for their medical student placements. As a relatively young partnership we understand the importance of good mentorship and support when making the transition from GP Registrar to newly qualified GP and feel that we are well equipped to provide excellent support in this regard.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work 6- 8 sessions as a salaried doctor, with the potential for partnership in the future if so desired.
