Weds tutorials are for all trainees in GP posts (both ST1s and ST2s in their first GP post, and ST3s). The focus of these sessions is knowledge, application in practice and helping you to cover a broad range of the RCGP curriculum.
Many will help you with AKT and CSA preparation; others are aimed at practical everyday things, or more difficult to get to areas.
For the next few months we will keep the scope and format under continuous review in an attempt to make them as useful as possible.
Weds tutorials are held at Ashcroft Surgery, Newlands Way, Off Harrogate Road (opposite the Eccleshill OOH Centre and Eccleshill Hospital), Bradford BD10 0JE. It’s a new building so may not be on your map and may be hard to find on your Sat Nav! The session runs from 130pm – 2.45 pm. We have changed the time in response to feedback. The aim is that these will now start very punctually! Our trainers put in an awful lot of work into these tutorials and trainees attending late always disrupt the flow of the session because the trainer then has to back track and repeat what they’ve already said – otherwise the latecomers would be simply lost in it all. So, please get there on time.
