Weds tutorial programme

Weds tutorials are for all trainees in currently in a GP post (usually ST1s and ST3s). The focus of these sessions is knowledge – to give you a burst of clinical knowledge (like the latest hypertension guidelines) or management knowledge (like change management, QoF etc.). Dedicating these sessions to knowledge enables us to free up the Half Day Release sessions to do more creative stuff that will hopefully stay with you for the rest of your life!

Weds tutorials are held at Ashcroft Surgery, Newlands Way, Off Harrogate Road (opposite the Eccleshill OOH Centre and Eccleshill Hospital), Bradford BD10 0JE. It’s a new building so may not be on your map and may be hard to find on your Sat Nav! The session runs from 1pm – 2.30 pm. Please try and get here on time. Our trainers put in an awful lot of work into these tutorials and trainees attending late always disrupt the flow of the session because the trainer then has to back track and repeat what they’ve already said – otherwise the latecomers would be simply lost in it all. So, please get there on time.
